"This is BIG! I am proud to have earned the support of these pillars of public service," Alison Brotzge-Elder says.

Both Tina and Bill offered their endorsements to our campaign because they feel I am the right person for the job right now.

"She's smart and a hard worker. She understands the need for outstanding constituent services," Tina Ward-Pugh said. "I am excited about the new energy she brings and I am confident that she is going to get the job done."

Tina previously served as District 9's Metro Council Member from 2003 to 2015. She was an inaugural member of Louisville Metro Council after merger and previously served on the city's Board of Alderman. She is the first openly out Louisville lawmaker and was critical to passing the city's historic Fairness Ordinance in 1999. Additionally, she was a tireless advocate for greater transparency and oversight across Metro Government.

"I know what it takes to be a good Metro Council member and I know that Alison can do just that. She can work with people to get the votes needed to get things done," Bill Hollander said. "She is engaged and passionate about serving her community beyond just one election cycle. I hope you'll join me in voting for her in this election."

Bill Hollander served as District 9's Metro Council Member from 2015 to 2023. During his tenure, he chaired the Budget Committee and made critical investments in the Louisville Affordable Housing Trust. Bill continues to serve on the boards of the Coalition for the Homeless, the Louisville Free Public Library Foundation, Trees Louisville, and Metro United Way.
